The potential and real resources of the community centers in our country. Attitudes and trends on early marriages and births… Europe after the elections – forecasts and trends. A survey among health mediators about our common values and ethical norms. These were the main topics of the next meeting of the Learning Action Partnership (LAP), which was held at the holistic coworking company SOHO in Sofia on June 19, 2024.

The speakers were the director of the Narodni Chitalishta Foundation, Yury Valkovski, the co-founder and director of the SECA Foundation, Rumyan Sechkov and the researcher Ralitsa Sechkova, Ivanka Abadjieva from NNHM and the political analyst and researcher Yavor Siderov. Representatives of BFPA, SECA Foundation, BRC, NNHM, NART, Lale Foundation, Know How Center for Alternative Care for Children, NCSHA, Narodni Chitalishta Foundation, Dignity Foundation, NCSI, Parents Association and the British Council participated .
Special guests at the event were three researchers from France, who followed the presentations and discussion with interest. They presented in the frame of their three-day study visit to our country under the Erasmus + program.

The presentations and the discussion were about the potential, the sustainability over time and the high level of trust today in the institution “chitalishte”(community center); about the attitudes in specific Roma communities regarding family models with a focus on child cohabitation/marriages and early births, and on the attitudes and expectations of different age groups towards the perspectives and alternatives for the future realization of young people from these communities; on EU norms, values and preferences on some issues as understood by health mediators and on some of the specifics of this professional community; about Europe before and after the elections such as attitudes, potential opportunities, policies and trends at national and European level.
