This report has been prepared by Jagoda Gregulska (Ecorys), Dr. Claire Healy (ICMPD), Agnieszka Makulec (Ecorys),
Dr. Elena Petreska (ICMPD), Dominika Safin (Ecorys) and Joanna Smętek (Ecorys) for the European Commission. It
was reviewed by prof. Zbigniew Lasocik and Dr. Łukasz Wieczorek from the University of Warsaw, Human Trafficking
Studies Centre.

The report builds on individual country fiches elaborated for internal use. The fiches were prepared for each of the
Member States by national experts in accordance with an established template.

The United Kingdom left the European Union as of 1 February 2020. The reference period for this study is prior
to this date, while the UK was a Member State. The study therefore includes information on the United Kingdom.
